Tips For Buying Medifast Food And Products
At first glance, this may seem like a really simplistic and silly topic, but I actually get it quite a lot. There are a few very common misconceptions that seem to go hand and hand with Medifast. One is that you can sometimes find it in grocery or health food stores and another is that you have to pay extra for membership fees or other things. Neither of these is true, but it is pretty easy to place a quick and easy order and there are a lot of options for almost every need. You're not required to order more than you may need or want, but you probably should decide which of the many options fits you best. I'll discuss this more in the following article.
Deciding How Much And What Type Of Medifast Food You Will Need: First off, you'll probably want to narrow it down to which plan best fits your health needs. There actually are additional plans (outside of the basic) for diabetics, women who are older, women who have hormonal and menopausal concerns, women who are concerned about their joints, and women who would like some appetite suppression and / or metabolism boosting additions.
All of the packages share some foods. For example, almost any package that you purchase will have some shakes, bars, soups, eggs, puddings, chili, drinks, etc. But, as another example, the diabetic package would contain foods with a lower carbohydrate content while the appetite suppression shakes are made specifically for that plan.
Once you've determined which type of foods would work best for you, then you'll need to decide if you're going to be ordering your food individually or as part of a package. They generally sell the packages in two and four week increments. And, because you're buying in bulk, this way tends to be cheaper. However, if you're not sure that you want to go that route, they do sell the foods on an individual basis also.
If you look on the left side of the company's website, you'll see that they have it broken down into packages, individual meals, snacks and then add ons. You can order any of these things directly from the company. It's free and easy to sign up and your information is stored so that you can literally order the next time in only a few seconds. (Or you can sign up for auto ship so that you don't have to worry about forgetting. They do offer you free shipping and 10% off each subsequent order with this option.)
On the bottom of the left hand side are all of the support options that are offered free. That's another point that I need to mention. Medifast never charges you for the coaching or support. They pretty much just sell the food and offer everything else for free.
I often have people who want to know which stores, pharmacies or clinics sell Medifast. In truth, few do. There are a handful of clinics scattered around, but many people do not have one close by and the company doesn't make the products available for retail sales. However, their website is very easy to navigate and you will generally receive your order within only a few days of ordering it. Plus, they often offer specials, discounts, and coupons that more than make up for this. (Don't forget to enter in the current coupon code at check out.)
